Prize Winners

First Security Bank contributed $40,000 in prize money for nonprofits that raised the most dollars and received the most individual donations. The certified winners of the First Security Bank grand prizes were:

Most Donations – Small Nonprofit Category

In addition, Jane Hunt Meade provided $10,000 for prizes for the nonprofits that raise the most dollars in several categories of service, including health, education and human services. Category prize winners were:

  • Animal Welfare – Faulkner County SPCA (Conway) – $1,000
  • Economic Development – Main Street Dumas (Dumas) – $1,000

Meade’s contribution also provided funds for ten hourly prize drawings, in which one donor per hour was selected at random to receive a $100 bonus for the charity of their choice (the bonus could be split among multiple nonprofits at the donor’s request). Hourly prize drawing winners were:

All participating nonprofits also received a share of a $250,000 bonus pool provided by Arkansas Community Foundation. The pool was split among the nonprofits on a pro-rated basis; for example, if an organization raised 1 percent of the total received on April 2, that organization received a corresponding 1 percent of the bonus pool.
