About Arkansas Community Foundation:

ArkansasGives is a project of Arkansas Community Foundation, a nonprofit organization promoting smart giving to improve communities. The Community Foundation offers tools to help Arkansans protect, grow and direct their charitable dollars as they learn more about community needs. By making grants and sharing knowledge, the Community Foundation supports charitable programs that work for Arkansas and partners to create new initiatives that address the gaps. Since 1976, the Community Foundation has provided more than $156 million in grants and partnered with thousands of Arkansans to help them improve our neighborhoods, our towns and our entire state.

Why is 2017 the final year for ArkansasGives?

Arkansas Community Foundation is thrilled with the response of donors in Arkansas to the hard work from almost 600 participating nonprofits. When we began the ArkansasGives event, we had some specific goals:

  • Get people excited about giving to nonprofits at a time other than the traditional year-end and reach out to new givers.
  • Expand marketing and fundraising capabilities for Arkansas nonprofits so that they can take advantage of social media and online giving to achieve their missions.
  • Increase awareness of the impact of nonprofits statewide.

We believe that with one more event, we will help raise much needed funds for nonprofits statewide and significantly increase their fundraising and marketing capacities for the future.

Your gift will be recorded as a contribution to Arkansas Community Foundation (the host of ArkansasGives). The full amount of your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Arkansas Community Foundation does NOT receive a portion of your donation; the full value of your gift (minus credit card processing fees) will be passed on to the nonprofit/s you indicate during the donation process.

In order to provide processing services for this event, our credit card processing company charges a fee on each transaction. Based on our research, we believe these rates are competitive and minimal.

Although these fees will be deducted from the amount received by your designated nonprofit organizations, the full value of your gift is tax deductible.

Can my gift be designated for a specific project or program?

No. Although you CAN choose the nonprofit you want to support, we are unable to accept specifications as to how the nonprofit will use the funds.
